Release Creative in association with GWB Entertainment dusted off Australia’s oldest mainland theatre to present it as a stunning Fringe venue that showcases more than 25 shows and 80 performances as part of the Adelaide Fringe.
The Queens was where Fringe-goers with a taste for the finer things in life will find their place amongst world-class artists in a classy and vibrant venue. We brought together Australia’s premier cabaret performers, musicians, and comedians under one historic roof, thanks to the grand and spacious architecture of Queens Theatre.
The Queens was a Fringe destination created by four Adelaide arts identities. The quartet behind this new addition to Adelaide’s festival season were the husband and wife teams of Amelia Ryan and Zac Tyler and Richelle and Torben Brookman, with one aim: to showcase Fringe at its finest and it’s safe to say, they did just that.
